Ubisoft Share Their Plans For Watch Dogs 2’s Next Three Months Of DLC

With a mixture of paid and free content, the next few months are looking pretty good for those of you still playing or looking for an excuse to return to Watch Dogs 2, with Ubisoft outlining just what to expect between now and June.

In terms of paid content, No Compromise will arrive for PlayStation 4 on 18th April and for Xbox One and PC on 18th May, because one month timed exclusivity period still seem to be all the rage for some unknowable reason. Whenever you get to play it, it adds a set of new story missions pitting Marcus against the Russian mob. While you might not be in a compromising mood with the Russians, the name also nods at the two new non-lethal weapons – the Air Shotgun and the Taser Sniper Rifle – which caters much better to those who didn’t feel it fitted Marcus’ character to brandish a gun.

Meanwhile, the new Showdown multiplayer mode is being made free for all players, instead of being tied to the No Compromise DLC – that DLC has new bits and bobs to make up for it. Showdown is out on 17th April for all platforms, pitting two pairs of players against each other with its competitive game modes including Steal the HDD, Doomload – a King of the Hill mode – and Erase/Protect the servers – a twist on domination. The idea is to push advanced players to use every gadget in their arsenal to hack, shoot, drive and solve puzzles all at once.

Additionally, there’s a paintball gun that can stun and splatter other players’ screens, the drone, motocross and eKart are coming online, and June will see four player support added to free roam and activities.
