Battlezone Coming To Oculus Rift And HTC Vive, Beta Starts 19th April

Easily one of my favourite games from the PlayStation VR launch, Battlezone’s retro-infused tank battler is now coming to Oculus Rift and HTC Vive. A date hasn’t been announced for the release, but a beta test will be running for one week, starting next week on on 19th April. If you’re interested, you can head over here to sign up.

The whole point of the test is to ensure that the game runs well on a large variety of different hardware configurations, though the game should run well on any system that meets the minimum specifications for either Vive or Rift.

Of course, it includes all of the added content and improvements that have been patched into the PSVR version of the game since launch, but the PC version of the game gets to enjoy further enhancements. There’s ultra-high resolution textures, customizable super-sampling, higher resolution shadow maps and even Oculus Touch compatibility.
