Torment: Tides Of Numenera is a game that has a lot of lore and information to get a small grasp on its world. Even after reviewing it I was still left with questions about some of the factions in the game, and the theories that circulate the world in the game. The latest update seeks to address that though as it has added the Voluminous Codex that will give information on anything encountered. Additionally a new companion character has been added in the form of Oom, a toy.
Oom comes from a prior world and has a deep connection to the tides. Like other companions Oom also has its own quest line to learn more about its past. Torment: Tides Of Numenera has received tweaks too like improving console performance, and improving the inventory screen a bit.
