If you were not aware that this was a trailer for Middle-earth: Shadow of War you could almost mistake it for a new Game of Thrones game. There are huge balls of green Wildfire, White Walkers, someone who appears to be made out of a tree, a feisty young warrior girl, dragons, and giants.
Of course a lot of those things can be found in many works of fantasy but Monolith are clearly a fan of the events at Kings Landing. The trailer actually shows Talion and Celebrimbor as they use the power of the New Ring to forge an army and confront the deadliest of enemies. Coo, exciting!
Middle-earth: Shadow of War will be available for Xbox One, Project Scorpio, Windows 10 PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 4 Pro, beginning on the 10th of October 2017.
