“Special” Crash Bandicoot Announcement Planned For E3, Says Activision

With E3 just days away now, Activision has outlined its lineup for the show. The publisher’s main focus will be spread between three of its upcoming titles: Destiny 2, Call of Duty WWII, and Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy.

In its rundown, Activision also states “be sure to keep your eyes peeled for a special Crash announcement during E3!” Exactly what this announcement could be is unclear, though we have a few guesses:

  • Crash Team Racing Remastered.
  • A full-on Crash Bandicoot sequel or reboot.
  • Crashlanders – a new toys-to-life franchise for Activision.
  • Crash Bandicoot confirmed for a potential PlayStation All-Stars 2.

Either way, we’ll find out next week. Want to stay on top of all the E3 2017 gossip? Head over to our “Everything From E3” page.

  1. Cartoon show on Netflix

  2. Most likely confirmation of our beloved Bandicoot’s gender transition.

She will now be known as Crashlyn Bandicoot.

And instead of breaking crates of apples she will break barriers with the power of pure positivity, acceptance and love.

  3. Probably just that crash is coming to other systems next year. Or maybe that it’s staying on PlayStation.

    • Possibly, but with the game yet to launch on PS4, announcing other platforms would be a bit too soon.

  4. Demo?

    • Wouldn’t say no to a demo but hardly a “special” announcement, is it? ;)

  5. It’s simple, they cause everything to Crash at E3 as part of a magnificent bastard-esque marketing techinque.
