Square Enix has released some new game footage of upcoming JRPG sequel, Kingdom Hearts 3. This latest video looks a lot closer to actual gameplay compared to some of the trailers we’ve seen before. There are also some story segments in there too, confirming that several of the series’ Disney villains will return including Hades, Maleficent and Pete.
We also get a better look at Olympus, a world that appears throughout the Kingdom Hearts series. It appears as though Hercules will be a returning companion, too. Looking at the game’s HUD it appears as though these secondary characters can join Sora’s party without needing to swap out Donald or Goofy.
Still planned for release on PlayStation 4, Square promises more details next month during this year’s D23 Expo.
