Ninja Theory’s Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is shaping up to be a game that will not be pulling punches when it comes to exploring the mental health of the protagonist Hela, as she confronts dark memories in the depths of her mind. The latest Hela trailer shows a point where she is confronted once again, and must try to fight through the darkness. The trailer is mostly a cutscene with no real look at gameplay however.
Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is due out on August 8th for PS4 and PC.

At one point I was consistently following the dev diaries, but all this psychological and constant hearing voices etc is just bloody annoying. Hardly seems fun, so seeming it’s a big part of the story/journey, it’s put me off completely. I’ll see what it turns out like, but it’s definitely not a day 1 purchase anymore for me.

No point buying a game when you already have those voices in your head, eh, Dave? :-P
