Radial-G: Racing Revolved Lands On PlayStation VR This Summer

Tammeka’s Radial-G: Racing Revolved, which we previewed on Oculus Rift two years ago, will be finally be making it to PlayStation VR this summer.

“We’re excited to be finally nearing the end of a 3 year journey that started with a cheeky tweet sent to Shuhei Yoshida at Develop: Brighton 2014, resulting in being supplied with a [PlayStation 4] dev kit and as known then, Project Morpheus, to port the game over with,” said Sam Watts, Director of Immersive Technologies at Make Real, operating as Game Producer at Tammeka.

The PSVR will include everything found in the Oculus Rift version although the player count has been cut down to eight. There will also be a new “comfort” mode for those not used to zipping around race tracks in VR.  No release date has been given, but Sam says there will be a “digital and physical release expected before the end of Summer.”

  1. What will the comfort mode be? Teleport in 100m increments..? :P

  2. Not that the Thumper demo is a true measure but having played that i’d definitely be up for something like this.

  3. It’ll be a good guide to see if you would suffer from motion sickness using the PSVR. If you can survive that you can survive any game.

  4. Is there a non-VR version too?
