Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice Is August’s Best Selling Game On The EU PlayStation Store

Congratulations to Ninja Theory, their gamble to self-publish Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice seems to have paid off as it was the number one selling game on the EU PlayStation Store last month, beating the mighty Uncharted: Lost Legacy in to second place. SuperHot VR claimed the top spot for PlayStation VR with another new entry, Paranormal Activity: The Lost Soul, claiming the second position.

Over in North America Hellblade has to settle for second place as Madden 18 claims the top spot, but the PlayStation VR chart is roughly the same. The North America chart is the only one to feature Life Is Strange: Before the Storm, and way down the chart in seventeenth position. That must be disappointing for Square Enix, the previous game had many fans so I wonder why they have not bothered grabbing the prequel.
