We’ll keep this extremely short and sweet by saying that an optimisation patch has been released for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. The update will enable performance and resolution improvements to those with a PlayStation 4 Pro. The news came directly from the European Metal Gear Solid account on Twitter:

While its nice to have, especially as I only recently picked it up via PSPlus, going by the Digital Foundry analysis on YouTube, its very hard to notice any improvement and the bare minimum seems to have been done. Shame really, considering what they could’ve done..
