Would you believe that it has been almost nine years since Demon’s Souls was released, spawning a whole sub-genre within gaming? The iconic title was up front about its difficulty and how players would die through it. One of the features of the game was the co-operative and competitive aspect where other players could appear to either help you or hurt you, but that will soon be switched off Bandai Namco confirmed.

Loved this game, have fond memories of it. And no sequel or spin-off ever came close in my view (I’ve not played them all, though).
And I watched the intro video every single time when I played this game, it was that good.
