Steven Spielberg’s adaption of Ready Player One has got a new trailer and you may spot a few familiar faces. The Battletoads, Lara Croft, Tracer from Overwatch, Blanka, Ryu and Chun Li are briefly shown alongside non-gaming characters such as The Joker, the Iron Giant, Gundam, Chucky, the DeLorean from Back to the Future, King Kong, KITT from Knight Rider, Deathstroke, Galdalf, and the bikes from Akira.
UPDATE: Harley Quinn is also shown, and it’s the version of the character from Rocksteady’s Arkham Knight.

Now this is more like what i envision when i think about VR! We’re a long way from that level of tech but at least the movie should inspire some cool VR scenarios

Disappointed that there wasn’t any Rush on that trailer. I’m recognising many scenes from the book, but I really hope they haven’t changed to much of the story for the movie!
