Drawn To Death’s Developer Lays Off The Majority Of Their Games Division

David Jaffe’s studio, The Bartlet Jones Supernatural Detective Agency, has laid off the majority of it’s games staff after an unannounced project was cancelled. The studio’s only release so far has been Drawn To Death which gained terrible reviews and was eventually given away free as part of PlayStation Plus.

The unannounced project may have something to do with this video which was hidden away on the Bartlet Jones Supernatural Detective Agency website when they teased Drawn to Death.

Jaffe broke the news via Twitter, using 1337 speak.

Wanted y’all2hear it from me before anyone else:we’ve had a project canceled and have been forced2lay off the vast majority of the Bartlet Jones staff gaming division. More news2come but for now, that’s what’s up.Heart’s breaking4the amazingly talented crew that’s out of work :(.

As always we would like to extend our luck to those who have been affected, and hope they land on their feet soon elsewhere.
