Tim Schafer To Be Awarded The BAFTA Fellowship

Legendary game creator Tim Schafer will receive the BAFTA Fellowship at the upcoming awards presentation on Thursday 12th April.

“I am surprised, humbled, and honored to be receiving the BAFTA Fellowship this year. BAFTA’s long-standing support of video games and championing of creativity and strong storytelling in that medium, have had an extremely positive impact and I’m very grateful to be recognized by them with this Fellowship,” said Tim.

Schafer now runs Double Fine Productions which has created Psychonauts, Broken Age, The Cave, and Brutal Legend. He previously worked for Lucas Arts as an assistant designer on The Secret of Monkey Island and Monkey Island 2: LeChuck’s Revenge, before going to to design Full Throttle and Grim Fandango.
