Forthcoming PlayStation VR shooter Bravo Team, which is out this week, has got another trailer to go with the Immersion trailer that launched over the weekend. This one asks you to “Feel them all”, which sounds a bit Harvey Weinstein to me.

I” be interested to see what the reviews say about this. I don’t think it looks particularly great but one thing I’ve realised with PSVR is even if it doesn’t look like much, when you are actually “in” it, it’s a whole different kettle of fish.

User impressions of the demo have been positive, although apparently the developer had issues with their last game and the demo being most of the full game, with another level being added in later. Definitely one to keep an eye on!

I like how he just sits down and plops the headset on his head. Obviously a VR master, and doesn’t have to do the whole thing adjusting the front, realising it’s squishing your nose, adjusting the back so it’s further down your head and the front is higher up, taking it off so you can see where you put the controllers, putting it back on, adjusting it some more, taking it off so you can see just how far off the right direction your facing, putting it back on, realising you’ve got a big jumper on and that’s not advisable for VR, taking it all off again, and so on for about 30 minutes before you’re ready to play.
He also doesn’t have a beard, like the last trailer and about 80% of all Sony’s VR people.
Also, who cares what the game ends up being like? The bundle with the Aim controller is back up for order from Amazon for just £49.99. Or was before I started typing this.

Haha, i feel your pain. I went through all of that the other night. Then when i was sat comfy in the right position i realised that the game i wanted to play was on disk and i had not loaded it into the console. :)
Im liking the look of the game. I really hope they have options to control the movement via the thumbsticks. The only gamelplay footage i have seen used the teleport method and i hate that. Completely breaks the immersion.

Yes, teleporting is a bit rubbish in most cases. Some developers seem overly concerned with doing anything that might make people feel a bit sick.
It does work for some things though. The wonderful Accounting+ uses it, but you’re just jumping around between fixed points in the various locations. Or teleporting to different Place Stations, as Clovis calmly introduces them.
Rec Room uses it too, and it works well there. Not just for getting away from annoying children. The paintball game can get even more fun if you’re in a chaotic fight with someone as good as you, because it shows your teleport target to everyone. You can see where they’re going to appear and get ready to shoot them in the face. Of course, they can see where you’re going to be and change position at the last moment and shoot you in the back of the head instead. Or you both panic, blindly teleport all over the place while trying to keep track of where the other player is, and you both die in an unfortunate grenade incident.
But mostly, unless there’s a good reason for it, teleporting is never the best option. Well, it’s an acceptable option, I guess, as long as real movement is an option too.

Yeah exactly, its about giving people the option to use it.
I didnt even realise that farpoint had this option until i dug into the menus, but it tansformed the game for me when i started using it.
I dont see why they dont have all the movement options available for games like this. It makes such a difference. Especially ones which make use of the aim controller.
