Rebellion’s Co-op Shooter Strange Brigade Is Coming Out In August

Taking a step away from WW2 sniping, Rebellion’s next big game is Strange Brigade, a co-op shooter with more than a hint of classic matinée serial adventures and films like The Mummy. Announced last year, it’s now got a release date of 28th August, where it will be coming to PS4, Xbox One and PC.

The above story trailer goes a little into how, where and why you’re fighting, as the Witch Queen Seteki has risen to command an army of ancient and mythological evils. You play as four heroes of the British Empire who seek to put an end to Seteki’s terror, taking on traps, figuring out puzzles and generally just shooting up a storm through the monsters coming at you.
