Resident Evil 2 Remake Launches This January

Sony have just revealed the release date for the remake of Resident Evil 2 and its landing on January 29th 2019, the same day as Kingdom Hearts III. The game was originally released on PlayStation 1 but has been remade with more cut scenes, more content, and extra story elements.

It also appears that the rumoured shift to an over the shoulder camera angle is true.

  1. My favourite game of the showcase. Felt giddy just watching it. Not bad for a 20 year old game.

  2. Wow. Huge news! Resi 2 is a belter!

  3. Can’t wait! Hopefully, they can capture the tone of the original and the character of the various locations. RCPD was as much a character as Leon or Claire. I hope they don’t loose that.
