The Fallout 76 Beta Will Be Xbox One Exclusive To Begin With

The Fallout 76 FAQ has revealed an interesting bit of information regading the forthcoming beta, or B.E.T.A. if you want to stick to Bethesda amusing acronyms. For reasons that have yet to be explained, Xbox One owners are getting a period of exclusivity.

A: The B.E.T.A. will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and on PC (via Bethesda.net). Stay tuned for exact timing for each platform here and @Fallout on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Please note that the B.E.T.A. for Xbox One will begin first, followed by other platforms.

Bethesda haven’t mentioned any exclusivity deals so perhaps they are just staggering the various betas to allow them more time to catch bugs on each system. The game is out this November and as it’s getting a Break it Early Test Application I’m sure the release version will be bug free, right Bethesda?

The only way to get access to the beta is to pre-order the game.

  1. Break it. Early. Test. Application.
    Brilliant lol.

  2. The reveal trailer ended with “play the beta first on Xbox One.” I remember because I rolled my eyes at how pathetic that sounds compared to PlayStation’s actual exclusives.
