Update 12:00AM 02/08: Xbox Live seems to be back to normal and the green lights are happily blinking away to show that they’re content and happy. Blinking and flashing, flashing and blinking. Oh, such happy little lights they are.
It’s now midnight, but I guess if you’ve been waiting to get onto Xbox Live to make it to thirteenth in PUBG or Fortnite, now’s as good a time as any. Have fun, fellow night owls!
As is customary when you have a free night to play games, something will try and get in the way of that. Tonight’s wrong-doer is Xbox Live, and despite Microsoft’s official status page saying that everything’s good, their Twitter support have tweeted that they’re looking into issues and there’ve been a good chunk of reports of problems logging in or with playing online over at Down Detector.
Some people are also having problems spending money on the store, which given the pretty sweet Summer Sale they’ve got on is a royal pain in the behind.
Hopefully it’ll clear up soon and you can get back to boarding other people’s ships in Sea of Thieves or ramming people off the road in Forza Horizon 3.
