Castlevania Requiem Rated For PlayStation 4

The Korean Ratings Board, who don’t give two hoots about ruining carefully planned marketing schemes, have rated Castlevania Requiem for PlayStation 4. It looks like this will be a double pack consisting of both Symphony of the Night and Rondo of Blood, and there will be an English language version so chances are it’s heading to the west.

There’s no indication as how they games are appearing on PlayStation 4, they could be straight ports rendered in a higher resolution if Konami want a quick buck, of they could be more thorough remaster, although given the age of the games a straight port seems more likely.

Castlevania: Rondo of Blood was originally created for the PC Engine console in 1993, and the sequel, Symphony of the Night, was released in 1997 and was subsequently ported to a number of consoles including the PSP and SNES, although these versions did have significant changes.
