Jump Force Leaps Into Action In February 2019, Closed Beta In October

A whole host of Jump Force news came out of Tokyo Game Show, with new characters revealed, new stages, season pass details, a closed beta announcement and an all important release window being announced for Bandai Namco’s manga crossover battler.

The game’s set for release in February 2019, but will be preceded by a closed beta in October. You’ll be able to get into the beat on PS4 and Xbox One by registering your interest before 7th October, with the beta then running from 12th-14th. You’ll have to be a member of the Ep!c Rewards Club, which you can join here.

That’s right, there’s Yusuke and Toguro from Yu Yu Hakusho and Kirua and Kurapika from Hunter X Hunter, but they’re being joined by four original new characters from Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama. You’ll be able to battle in Himeji Castle, one of Japan’s most famous landmarks.

In addition to this, the game will launch with a season pass, which includes nine additional characters. That’s to be included in the Collector’s Edition, which also features a steel book case, three 28x28cm art boards and a 30cm diorama of Naruto, Luffy and Goku.
