Total War: Warhammer II’s Gets All Piratey In November

In what is surely a marketing or development screw up, Total War: Warhammer II’s next campaign pack is coming out on 8th November, just as everyone will have finished packing up their Halloween decorations and convinced their cats and dogs that it’s safe to come out from their firework induced hidey-holes. Even worse, International Talk Like a Pirate Day was in September!

Either way, Curse of the Vampire Coast brings “zombie pirates, vampires with guns, and giant crab characters, magic and monsters” to the east coast of Lustria.

Adding to both Warhammer II’s Eye of the Vortex campaign and the combined Mortal Empire campaign map, you have four Legendary Pirate Lords to play as, each with piratey hordes to send ravaging the lands with Pirate-styled campaign mechanics. As always, it’s a themed campaign that leads to a grand Moby Dick-esque battle.

All four of the lords are seeking to find and empower the Star-Metal Harpoon, which is the only thing capable of taming Amanar, a huge Merwyrm. Doing so will truly make them the most famous pirate lord around.
