Forza Horizon 4 is stuffed full of races, events and things to find in its open world that’s inspired by England and Scotland. Now it’s getting even more things to do, thanks to a new Route Creator feature that’s been added to the game.
Startin in Horizon 3, you could take existing events and put your own spin on them with custom cars, tweaked rules, and so on. The Blueprint Creator didn’t let you change the race’s route in that game, and it didn’t at launch for Horizon 4, but that’s now changed. You can create a custom route of up to 40 miles from any Asphalt, Dirt or Cross-Country event start point. You draw the event by driving it in your car, place checkpoints where you want, and then you’re good to go.
There’s also a new Horizon Story called British Racing Green which, obviously, celebrates British racing cars. Some of them are green. You can find it in Broadway once you’ve reached level 50 and there’s a Bentley 8 Litre to unlock.

- Fix for calculation of team score in Horizon Stories Co-op sessions during time-based challenges.
- Fix for Forzathon Weekly Bonus not updating correctly in the UI.
- Fix for HDR brightness calibration screen.
- Fix for traffic cars not spawning sometimes after a Barn Find cinematic.
- Fix for rotating wheels when car is stationary in Pause Menu, ForzaVista and Drone Mode.
PC Fixes
- Fix for video options being lost when tweaking AMD GPU clock speeds.
- Increased quality of grass and tree procedurals at distance when Procedural Quality setting is set to Extreme.
- Fix for ‘low streaming bandwidth’ message on high spec PCs when GPU-limited.
- Fix for crash when changing audio devices whilst a video is playing.
