Good news everyone, Bethesda have offered to compensate everyone who bought the Fallout 76 Power Armour edition but got a ratty nylon bag rather than rufty-tufty canvas bag that was – and still is – pictured in all the promotional material.
We understand and respect that there is disappointment with the bag in the Power Armor Edition. We are sorry. Please contact Bethesda Support to provide proof of your CE purchase. They will assist in granting your account 500 Atoms.

That’s nice isn’t it? $5 worth of in game credits, what a lovely, generous offer.

It’s quite amazing (and entertaining) to watch big companies like this handle their PR so badly every so often.

Let me get this right. They’re compensating people who spent “real” money with in-game money. Are they serious?! :-\

And apparently not enough in-game currency to buy an in-game canvas bag as well.
They’ve changed their story again though, and it’s now not made of canvas due to “unavailability of materials”. Quite how that works, I’m not sure. Is all canvas made by a single old woman living up a mountain in Scotland, following the traditional canvas making methods? Has climate change caused this years canvas harvest to fail? Or are Bethesda just being a bunch of cockwombles and just coming up with all the excuses they can think of in the hope that eventually one of them is believable?
