After two years in Paradox Interactive’s home town of Stockholm, they’re taking their fan convention on the road next year. PDXCON will be heading to Berlin in October 2019.
PDXCON was for a long time a press-only event, but opened its doors to the public for the first time in 2017, with two days of fan-oriented events alongside the press. That will carry forward to 2019, with it running from 19-20th October for the public. The two days will feature game and expansion announcements, presentations and panels from the developers, and plenty of hands on time.
Though it’s slap bang in the middle of one of the busiest times of year for game releases, it’s a good step for Paradox to shift the event around as they need to, hopefully matching the convention to the game announcements and not the other way around.
Will there be a new PDS game announcement? Will it be Vicky 3? I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
(Spoiler: it won’t)
