Here’s some news about a thing that didn’t exist, at least officially. Ubisoft teased a new game called Pioneer within Watch Dogs 2, a mission had you infiltrating the Ubisoft HQ and stealing a video, a teaser trailer for the game.
After a little digging it turned out that Pioneer was a real project that Ubisoft were working on although it was never officially confirmed. To continue that theme, it’s now been unofficially cancelled in a tweet from former Ubisoft director Alex Hutchinson.

Farewell Pioneer, we will never know what you were. The good news is that Ubisoft have a lot of unannounced games in the works including Project Bowmore, Project Rocket, and Project Aegyptus.
