Resident Evil 2 topped the EU PS Store charts for January

They didn’t have a PlayStation Store back in 1998, but you can bet that if they did, Resident Evil 2 would have been topping the digital download charts back then as well. The reimagined horror game was easily the biggest game of the month, though that’s perhaps not entirely fair on Kingdom Hearts III, which only has two days on sale to reach sixth place.

That’s still more than respectable, when considering the January sales that will have helped propel a number of lower priced games up the order. GTA V benefited and bounced up from fifth to second, wihle Need for Speed Payback, The Sims 4, AC Origins, Rainbow Six Siege and Star Wars Battlefront II all re-entered the top twenty.
