If you’re a fan of the supremely adorable adventures of Captain Toad Treasure Tracker (and you should be) then you’ll be thrilled to hear that Nintendo haven’t forgotten about this spin-off game and are actually updating and adding to the game with DLC.
Right after the end of today’s Direct, an update to the game adds co-op play throughout, with Toadette joining Captain Toad on his adventure.
Further to that, Nintendo are developing a DLC expansion pack that adds eighteen new challenges and five new levels to the game. That will be coming mid-March, with co-op built in from the beginning. It will be available to pre-order shortly after the Direct with one of the stages to play right away if you do so.
