With the final trailer of the Nintendo Direct, they sprung the (second) best kind of surprise on fans of The Legend of Zelda: a remake of a true classic game in the series. The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening is being remade from the ground up for Nintendo Switch, and sporting a wonderfully cute new art style. It’s pencilled in for a 2019 release.

Nice. I thought there was going to be nothing that would grab me with this Direct but this has.
I was so on the fence with BOTW and didn’t get the love for it. Started it again last week and something just clicked, it’s absolutely fantastic. This will be nice to revisit too!
