The founder of Avalanche Studios Christofer Sundberg has announced he will be leaving the developer at the end of April. Sundberg has helped take the studio from his kitchen to a name known worldwide for IPs like the Just Cause series, Mad Max, and The Hunter. Avalanche has also been working on Generation Zero, out in March, and also alongside id Software on Rage 2 which will be released in May.
I just announced to the team here at #AvalancheStudios that I will be leaving the company at the end of April. The studio I founded in my kitchen, built, ran and loved for 16 years, working together with fantastic individuals and teams.
