Sony’s turn to announce their free games for next month and we’re starting with a game I am very happy to get for free, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered. Joining that is something completely different, Jonathan Blow’s enigmatic first-person puzzler The Witness.
Some decent games, but what about a replacement for the PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 3 games, those have been discontinued. Well you’re getting… nothing.
I’m really quite surprised about that, there are plenty of older, smaller PlayStation VR games they could have snapped up to give away as a bonus and tempt people in to buying a fancy PlayStation hat.
Your two new PlayStation Plus titles will be available to download from March 5th.

That is a Very Good Monthâ„¢, but that’s to be expected when Sony no longer have to look out for PS3 and Vita.

So much for making up for the loss of 2/3 of the games with something decent then. A remastered 11 year old game and a reasonable puzzle game that soon gets a bit tedious.
Still, at least I’m not being plagued by errors uploading saves now.

Good month, but I just bought MW remastered about two weeks ago in a sale. This is about the fourth time I’ve bought something a month before its available for free.

Well in that case can you kindly go out and buy Spider-Man and Metro Exodus and Resident Evil 2 please said like to see those on plus shortly! Also while your avatar demands maximum respect, sadly it seems you need to work a little harder on your time travelling to sav you a few quid in the future ;)

The obvious thought is that those games are too new, but with my track record it could happen.

Good month IMO but already have The Witness. Good luck to anyone going for the platinum… the last challenge is a extremely unforgiving.

A remaster of the only COD game I’d ever played, and which was so complete rubbish back then already, that I never played another one again? Great, thanks.
At least The Witness makes up for that, I may give that one a go, sooner or later.

Will probably enjoy checking out Call of Duty again, but I own The Witness already. Still, here’s hoping for more of this standard going forward.

I probably won’t ever complete The Witness so that makes it an ideal plus game for me.
