Brendan “PlayerUnknown” Greene is to leave the PUBG development team and head a new Special Projects division of the company. This new team won’t be making a new game but will explore and create new technology, tools and gameplay, as well as “interaction and connection within the game space”, whatever that is.
PlayerUnknown’s Battle Grounds will now be headed by Taeseok Jang with Greene hanging around in the background as a consulting creative director and collecting lots of lovely money.
