Google Stadia launches this November, according to hastily deleted post

The Engadget offices are probably not the best place to be right now as they posted, and then quickly deleted, a load of information about Destiny 2, which I’ll be posting in a second. However, amongst all the Guardian stuff is the reveal of Google Stadia’s launch month, as Destiny 2 is heading to the service.

If the idea of cloud gaming interests you, particularly Google’s new Stadia service, Bungie has some good news. The game will also debut on Google’s cloud gaming platform, which is due to launch in November. If you don’t have access to a high-end PC, you’ll be able to play Destiny 2 through Google Chrome.

Google will be holding a press conference at 5pm today to reveal all. Well, mostly all. Not Destiny 2 or the launch month.

  1. It’s still all interesting, but I can’t see it replacing a dedicated console, and their attached streaming/downloading services.
