The critically acclaimed video detective story Her Story is getting a spiritual successor from Sam Barlow called Telling Lies.
It follows a woman who’s stolen a hard drive with recordings of four people on it, and it’s up to you to figure out what has happened because of this and why.
As in Her Story, you’ll be studying the video footage, hunting for key words and phrases that lead you to other videos in order to learn more about these characters and the events that transpired. It features 10 hours of footage, set across two years in the story, with Sam Barlow saying that he’s really exploring the non-linearity open world style exploration of the video clips.
It’s labelled as “coming soon”, and we can’t wait to see more.
