Telling Lies will be released on PS4, Xbox One, and Switch next week

The FMV title Telling Lies is going to be released for PS4, Xbox One, and Switch on April 28th, confirmed Annapurna Interactive. The game is a spiritual sequel to Her Story but in Telling Lies players have to scroll through hours of video from four different characters to see what links them all to a specific event.  It features 10 hours of footage, set across two years in the story, with Sam Barlow saying that he’s really exploring the non-linearity open world style exploration of the video clips. Telling Lies has been part of an FMV resurgence that has hit the games industry in recent years, and the style is pretty popular.

Telling Lies stars Angela Sarafyan who many will recognise from HBO’s Westworld, Kerry Bishé who has featured in Argo, Narcos, and How It Ends. The game also stars Alexandra Shipp who has been in Straight Outta Compton and also played Storm in X-Men: Apocalypse and Dark Phoenix. Logan Marshall-Green rounds out the cast list and he has been in The Invitation and Damnation. It’s an impressive cast list. In our review for Telling Lies Nick wrote:
