Telling Lies, the spiritual successor to Her Story, has got a release date and it’s not far off at all. The new FMV title by Sam Barlow will be available on August 23rd for PC via Steam and iOS devices. The story of Telling Lies follows a woman after she has stolen a hard drive which contains recordings of four people spanning a timeline of two years. In the recordings, players will have to pick out keywords and phrases which in turn unlock other pieces of video. Using these players will need to work out what has happened.
Telling Lies stars Angela Sarafyan who many will recognise from HBO’s Westworld, Kerry Bishé who has featured in Argo, Narcos, and How It Ends. The game also stars Alexandra Shipp who has been in Straight Outta Compton and also played Storm in X-Men: Apocalypse and Dark Phoenix. Logan Marshall-Green rounds out the cast list and he has been in The Invitation and Damnation. It’s an impressive cast list.Â
