Assassin’s Creed Odyssey’s August update starts with a new Lost Tale

The August update for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey has begun today as a new Lost Tales of Greece has been added, with this one titled Old Flames Burn Brighter. It’s accessible to anyone who has made it to Chapter 5 of the mainline Odyssey quest. That’s not all that will be coming as Ubisoft has confirmed that players can expect patch 1.5.0 to arrive in August which will lay the groundwork for the Discovery Tour which will allow players to explore the Ancient Greek world and learn about it.

The August update will also see the following added:

  • The Ikaros Pack contains a gear set, a mount, and a bow. (August 27th)
  • Inventory Starter / Objective: This will allow players to start a new quest using quest items. (Story Creator)
  • At the request of the community, patrol behaviour is coming soon.   (Story Creator)
  • Story Creator Mode Website Update:
    • Save Stories for later
    • Create and share playlists
    • Queue stories

Assassin’s Creedy Odyssey isn’t the only Assassin’s Creed game getting an update. The mobile title Assassin’s Creed Rebellion will see  the Eagle’s Shadow 5-Day limited-time event begin on August 7th allowing players to unlock AltaĂŻr Ibn-La’Ahad and Maria Thorp. During this event players will be going to Acre as one of those characters to rescue the city from the grip of the Templars.
