Death Stranding is the “crunch time of dev” according to studio head Hideo Kojima, who somehow missed the industry wide memo that crunch is not a good thing and certainly shouldn’t be celebrated.
The man himself is clearly working hard and has knuckled down to get the game out on time. Wait, sorry, what I meant to type is he’s been busy drinking custom made Death Stranding coffee. Here’s the first one, a lovely representation of Norman Reedus as Sam looking pensively out into the distance.
The second caffeine fuelled delight is topped with a naked Norman and the Death Stranding logo. Snazzy!
Although it has not been revealed how the beautiful beverages were created it is assumed that a 3D latte printer has been used. “Sources” tell me that the range will be expanded to included a special edition Mocha Frappe with delicious Tuile biscuit in the shape of Guillermo del Toro.
We’re unsure if the new Death Stranding coffee range will be joining huge range of merchandise for the game, which includes socks, umbrellas, a very expensive watch, and packing tape, but we hope so.
In the past few days all references to the game being a PlayStation exclusive have been removed from the PlayStation Store, indicating that the game will also be released on PC. When the game was initially revealed the Sony press release did state the game is coming to the format, something they seemed to have forgotten in the following months and only just remembered.

A trailer for the game was recently released featuring Heartman, played by Nicholas Winding Refn but voiced by in English by Darren Jacobs, who dies every 21 minutes. There’s a new version of that trailer in 4K, which you can see below.
