A couple of months ago at E3 V1 Interactive, a studio founded by Halo co-creator Marcus Lehto, revealed the new IP Disintegration. At the time there wasn’t a lot of information stating what the game would entail, and only a brief teaser was shown. That changed as V1 revealed a lot more information during Gamescom Opening Night Live, with one of the main characters revealed and a quick look at multiplayer too.
In Disintegration players appear to take on the role of Gravcycle pilot Roamer, though Roamer isn’t the only character players will control through the campaign. Roamer uses the Gravcycle to navigate battlefields while giving out tactical commands to allies in an effort to win fights. Multiplayer is also shown as two teams of five go head to head but also have to contend with interruptions from the environment that could change the tide of a fight. There’s still not a lot of detail about the plot but elements of gameplay from Halo will be present though a lot of it will be changed up.
Disintegration is set to be released in 2020 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
