Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Mega Mix Western Switch release confirmed for 2020

Sporting a whole new look for the series, the Switch exclusive Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Mega Mix has been confirmed for a Western release in 2020.

When in 2020, we don’t know, but the game known as Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA MEGA 39’s in Japan will out in ‘early 2020’ in that region.

The vocaloid computer generated singer has starred in more than a few games over the years, with a fairly consistent visual style for quite some time. To go with her Switch debut, the games graphics have been completely revamped with an anime look.

Playing the game, you can use both traditional button controls as well as “a new game mode exclusive to the unique functions of the Nintendo Switch.” That sounds like waggle controls to me!

The game has a huge library of songs to tap/waggle along to the beat with, with over 100 returning songs, all of which have had their music videos given that anime touch, and a selection of brand new tracks.
