The reviews – or more precisely, lack of them – don’t seem to have done NBA 2K20 any harm as it has crashed in to the UK charts right at the top, making it the first ever basketball game to claim a number one spot.
Spyro springs back in to second place on the back of the Switch release and Catherine Full Body brings its sexy sheep and block puzzling delights to the ninth spot. Monster Hunter: World – Iceborne gets a mid chart placing with the steelbook edition of the Batman Arkham Collection bringing it back in the charts, but only just.
Last week’s big top four, which were all new entries, have done less well. Despite predictions of a strong second week Control has fallen to fourteenth place, Wreckfest is still ahead in tenth, but Man of Medan has done really well and hold steady at number three.

Poeple clearly like gambling in their basketball games then.
I still cant beleive this game is rated as suitable for 3 year olds. Next time I go to vegas im going to stick my kids in front of a slot machine, see if that raises any eyebrows.
