Red Dead Online’s first legendary bounty is now available to hunt

The Frontier Pursuits update recently arrived for Red Dead Online bringing along the roles of Bounty Hunter, Trader, and Collector with players be able to choose a path though not for free. For those of who have or are considering the Bounty Hunter role then there’s a legendary bounty out to collect with this being the first of ten.

The target is Barbarella Alcazar who is the leader of the Del Lobos gang and the location of where to go for the hunt is New Austin. Alcazar won’t be around forever. In fact it seems she’ll flee after September 23rd so you’ve only got until then to either bring Alcazar in alive for a decent sum, or dead for a reduced fee. Whatever suits you under the circumstances. After the 23rd a new legendary bounty will arrive and eight more will follow after that with one appearing each week.

Collectors haven’t been left out as a new treasure hunt is available for a limited time. The Pearls of the Sea collection is what needs to be sought and that consists of the Durant Pearl Bracelet, Pelle Pearl Necklace and Bonnard Pearl Ring. Again, these will only be available to find until September 23rd so you collectors best be quick.

There’s some experience point bonuses available too. Chuck on Red Dead Online between now and the 23rd to get 3000 XP towards the Wheeler, Rawson & Co. Club ranks. Outlaw Pass owners will get 2000 XP.

Today, Rockstar also released its own game launcher on PC with those installing it getting Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas for free. Of course, this has fueled speculation that Rockstar is getting ready to release Red Dead Redemption 2 for PC and that the game will be an exclusive to Rockstar’s program. Why else would Rockstar invest in a launcher now?
