One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows closed beta taking place in November

Bandai Namco has announced that a closed beta for its upcoming fighter One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows will be taking place in November. The length of time the beta will run for is quite short, beginning on November 1st and ending on November 3rd/4th depending where in the world you are. As it is a closed beta you need to be a member of the Bandai Namco EP!C loyalty program, and through that can claim a code for PS4 or Xbox One. However, there is an application process and that is only open until October 16th. If you don’t apply for a code by then you won’t get one.

The beta will not be continuous but instead there will be different session slots which are as follows:

  • Session 1 – Friday, November 1st from 11:00 to 13:00 CEST
  • Session 2 – Saturday, November 2nd from 07:00 to 09:00 CEST
  • Session 3 – Saturday, November 2nd  from 22:00 to midnight CEST
  • Session 4 – Sunday, November 3rd from 22:00 to midnight CEST

The content of the beta will allow players to create their own hero and take on some missions by the looks of things as well as engage in a number of battles, in which other heroes will appear. There will also be battle changing events according to the trailer including getting stuck in the ground, or meteors crashing into the battle arena and knocking fighters off their feet. It also looked like a giant creature steps on someone in a fight as well.

One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows will be released in 2020 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
