Battlefield 5 weekly reset adds new War in the Pacific challenges

DICE has pulled the lever on this week’s Battlefield V reset, adding new Tides of War challenges for players to participate in and unlock in-game items.

For those a little rusty or newcomers who recently picked up the recently announced Battlefield V Year 2 Edition, Tides of War is branching progression system that was added to the popular World War II shooter post-launch.

Tides of War is split between chapters with a new spread of challenges added weekly. Currently Battlefield V is in its fifth chapter, week 2 running between November 7th and November 14th. If you manage to complete enough of the challenges listed below you will unlock the new Pacific Tiger skin for the Mitsubishi A6M fighter plane.

Last week DICE launched a major update for Battlefield V. War in the Pacific is completely free to anyone who owns a copy of the game, adding two maps from the Pacific Ocean theatre including Iwo Jima and Pacific Storm.

It’s a brilliant expansion and if you haven’t touched Battlefield V since launch or when it added the “Firestorm” battle royale mode, now’s the perfect time to return.
