December’s PlayStation Plus games have been revealed

UPDATE: As leaked by the Polish PlayStation Page a little earlier today this month’s PlayStation Plus games are Titanfall 2 and Monster Energy Supercross – The Official Video Game.

Titanfall 2 is a brilliant game but has been on sale on the PlayStation Store many times so most people would have picked that up. Monster Energy Supercross is a less brilliant game and isn’t even the most recent title, the sequel was out March this year and the third game launches early 2020. None of the TSA staff managed to predict the correct games (see below), what a rubbish bunch we are.

Original story below….

It’s almost time for those super exciting and ever so sexy PlayStation Plus games to be revealed. We should find out around 4.30pm this afternoon but in the meantime don’t forget that PlayStation Plus is currently discounted by 25% in the Black Friday sale on the PlayStation Store. You can also pick up the same discount from other retailers including Amazon or you can save a massive 40% via Shopto.net who have a year subscription to the service for just £29.85. There is a limited quantity on offer so move fast if you want that deal!

You also have a week to download this month’s games, Nioh and Outlast 2 if you have not already done so, you can use the links below.

You may forget this but PlayStation Plus also gives you extra benefits, and I’m not talking about online storage for your saves on the entitlement to use ALL CAPS ON TWITTER when the PSN goes down for twenty minutes.

PlayStation Rewards give you some super tasty extra treats including money off pizza, om nom nom, and 25% off gift experiences. Here are some the offers available right now.

You can check out the full list of offers here.

Here are the staff predictions for December’s PlayStation Plus, will any of them be right?

  • Dom – Knack 2, Horizon Zero Dawn
  • Jim – Horizon Zero Dawn, Star Wars Battlefront II
  • Teflon – Rainbow Six Siege
  • Steve – Agony, The Quiet Man
  • Aran – Monster Hunter World
  • Jason – God of War, Spider-Man
  • Tuff – The Division 2, Human Fall Flat

We will update the post at 4.30pm GMT so check back then to find out what Sony’s Santa is going to stuff down your chimney.

  1. My prediction is on Rise of the Tomb Raider. Cause it’s currently 8€ on the PS Store and the promotion stops on december 03rd, the day the PS+ games will be online. PS+ games are often on promotions some days before they are free.

  2. If this is true, that’s terribly naff.

Titanfall 2 is a great game, but anyone who wanted to play it already has and it’s been completely superseded by Apex Legends.

Feel a bit shafted, to be honest.

  3. Usual combo of something good that everyone already has b2b something turd.

    • That’s the thing about good games – people buy them :)

  4. That’s a whole £62.98 worth of games, according to Sony’s email!

My main problem is both are available as part of other services. Titanfall 2 is on EA Access, and the other is on PS Now.

Sony do seem to be taking the piss a bit this year. PS+ went from 6 games a month (usually including at least 1 fun distraction you’d have overlooked) to 2 games, at least half of which everybody’s already got. For the same price. And PS Now went from 10 games a month, to 3 or 4 a month, most of which are only available for 3 months. But at least the price went down.

    • We should all have bombarded Sony with a right shitstorm when they cut down the number of free Plus games so drastically. I’m with you there, Ive got a huge backlog and don’t really need free games, but still, Plus became quite the disappointment.

  5. As the only person who doesn’t already own Titanfall 2, I’m happy with that.

The other game though… Might not even bother adding it to my library

  6. Still not compelling enough to resubscribe even with ShopTo having it for 40% off

  7. Meh. Of course, I have played Titanfall 2 already.

  8. I bought Titanfall 2 last year for, I think, $4. It’s a good game but I thought it was a bit overhyped.
