A brand new trailer for Overpass has been released by Bigben and Zordix Racing which shows all of the 23 licensed vehicles that will be present in the game. The vehicles include models from Polaris, Yamaha, Suzuki, and Arctic Cat, all of which are built to navigate tough terrain which features rocky outcrops and steep climbs.
Overpass is not your typical racing game though. Sure, you’re trying to get to the finish line before your competitors but speed will not win out here. Instead, the game is all about carefully navigating the world to make progress or risk getting stuck and falling behind. Stefan got some hands-on time with Overpass and here’s what he thought:
Regardless of the inspirations, comparisons and differences, there’s something inherently appealing about Overpass. Overcoming the vehicular obstacle courses put in front of you requires thought and dexterity – even more-so if you take advantage of the racing wheel support – is just so satisfying as you weave around what’s in your way, mount awkward looking rocks and crest every ridge on your way to the finish line.
You can read the full preview here. Overpass will be released on February 27th, 2020 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. A Switch version will be released later.
