EA has released a brand new trailer for the upcoming Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker content that will be available in Star Wars Battlefront 2 from tomorrow, December 17th. In the trailer, you see as the Resistance fight against the First Order on an exotic jungle planet. The trailer also gives a look at the new units for both sides including the Ovissian Gunner and Caphex Spy for the Resistance, while on the First Order side you can see the Sith Troopers and Jet Troopers rain down some fire.
The trailer also shows a new look for Kylo Ren who faces off against Rey once more. Other familiar faces like Finn appear too. The jungle planet which is shown will be available in co-op modes alongside other Sequel Trilogy planetsJakku, Takodana, and Starkiller Base. The update will be available December 17th, except for the new planet which will arrive on December 20th. This isn’t all the content to expect as January will see the addition of the Resistance MC85 and First Order Resurgent-class Star Destroyer in Instant Action and Capital Supremacy. BB-8 and BB-9E will be the new Heroes.
Almost two weeks ago Star Wars Battlefront 2: Celebration Edition was released which included:
- Base Game (Including all past and future free game updates as they release)
- More than 25 Hero Appearances ○ Including six Legendary Appearances, plus one Appearance each for Rey, Finn, and Kylo Ren inspired by STAR WARS: THE RISE OF SKYWALKER, coming December 20
- More than 125 Trooper and Reinforcement Appearances
- More than 100 Hero and Trooper Emotes and Voice Lines
- More than 70 Hero and Trooper Victory Poses
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will release in cinemas of December 19th.
