Genshin Impact’s latest closed beta kicks off next week

Mihoyo has announced that there is going to be a second closed beta for its upcoming RPG Genshin Impact will be taking place next week from on March 19th. This second beta will allow players to experience quests that take place between Mondstadt and Liyue Harbor, offering new challenges that may not have been in the first closed beta. The quests will involve hunting different monsters that become increasingly difficult, while using a team of up to four of the game’s characters. Each of the characters will have a different elemental strength so players can experiment a bit with the various styles.

This beta is previous to the last asthere was no link between the locations, so there is the opportunity to explore more. It seems you may still be able to express interest in taking part by going to the official site. While the game is coming to PS4 and Switch the closed beta is not taking place on those platforms. Instead, the test is being carried out on the PC and mobile versions of the title.

In Genshin Impact players take on the role of The Traveler who washes up on the shores of Teyvat. The main story will be about searching for the character’s sibling but there will be plenty of other quests to experience. There will be over 30 companions to ally with to make up your party of four, and there is also the multiplayer aspect where players can work together to tackle quests. A release date is yet to be confirmed.
