Resolution Games has revealed its next VR title and it is a little bit different from the likes of Angry Birds VR: Isle of Pigs and Bait!. This new game is called Blaston and it is all about dueling. Players will face off in one on one battles in an attempt to win duels. In the game, a requirement will be constant movement while trying to take out the opponent using a host of future style weapons. The trailer appears to show a pistol and a scattergun, with one being much more effective than the other here. The VR platforms Blaston will be released on appear to be PSVR, Oculus Quest, Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, and Windows Mixed Reality. A release date is yet to be confirmed.

“We really couldn’t be more excited about Blaston. It’s definitely a departure from the cooperative game play that Resolution Games has become known for and will introduce a whole new genre and audience of players to the studio.”
Meanwhile, Blaston’s producer Mathieu Castelli said
We’ve been playing Blaston behind-the-scenes for quite some time, and Tommy still hasn’t managed to beat me.It’s been a lot of fun. The offices have been filled with shouts of excitement during matches. There’s a real adrenaline rush that comes from the physical intensity!”
