Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise has been given a July release date

Rising Star Games has and Toybox Inc has confirmed that Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise is going to be released on July 10th for Switch, and much like the original this game is going to be bizarre. Deadly Premonition 2 is both a sequel and a prequel to the first game, with players playing as both Agents Davis and Jones. These two are investigating the Le Carre murders so at points in the game players will go back in time and play as Agent York. It is an open mystery so players can walk around town and explore at their own pace. If walking seems too pedestrian then you can always use a skateboard to traverse the world instead.

The murder mystery is not the only thing that will keep you occupied. There are plenty of mini games such as bowling, skateboard challenge, the Bayou challenge, and many other things. You will also be able to customise your character, and you can upgrade the skateboard to improve its speed and trick skills. Basically, Deadly Premonition 2 is a mix of a mystery game and a skateboarding title. It will all probably make sense in its own strange way when people play the game. Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing In Disguise was announced last year as a Switch exclusive, but that exclusivity period may be timed. The game could eventually make its way to PlayStation and Xbox consoles as well as PC. The game is priced at $49.99.
